INTERVIEW SKILLS TRAINING 2-day WORKSHOP For Individuals Interviewing for Jobs
Our Interview Skills Training workshop provides you with the tools and practice you need to make your interviews not just good... but GREAT!!
The context or any interview is as important as the content – in some cases even more important. Yet too often interviews fall flat, are out of sync or just go awry. Why? The reason is simple: Good interviewers are made, not born. This workshop offers a practical training seminar to improve your interviewing skills in this extremely critical stage of the job search. It closely examines the ingredients of a successful interview and offers practical insights on how to improve your interviewing skills. It is designed to provide actual practice and rehearsal in using the new tools you will learn.
· Use your voices, gestures and physical presence to effectively capture attention and gain credibility;
· Interview for maximum impact by effectively organizing your ideas, experiences and accomplishments;
· Reduce your fear and nervousness of interviewing by getting your “butterflies to fly in formation;”
· Handle questions, develop genuine rapport and create a mood of trust; and,
· Use the “Interview Outline” for a disciplined interview that produces the results you want.
The workshop also provides more than just skills training. Participants learn how to achieve commitment and action as a result of their interview, and how to sell yourself. You will develop better judgment in clarifying the responsibilities of the job you are applying for, and as a result will be assessed as more professional, competent and credible.
You discover how to get organized for an interview, answer difficult questions, speak and act with more poise, reduce nervousness and fear, and isolate those factors that will help to make your interview more successful.
"I not only met my personal objective for the workshop, I also learned a great deal more. The skills I learned will be invaluable to me in every situation where I interview or present information. Thank you for this enriching opportunity!"
