CONFLICT MEDIATION

"Conflict" can represent a stumbling block to successful management. People generally hesitate to confront someone with "bad" news, or sometimes when they do, it’s without a clear methodology designed to succeed. Many times people delay or avoid dealing with someone they have a conflict with - sometimes at great cost to an organization. The traditional view of conflict resolution, as something that only resilient or clever people do, must be modified. A clear understanding of the strategies and tactics of conflict mediation, and confidence in applying them, are essential for professional development as well as a healthy corporate culture. Approached positively and creatively, conflict mediation can significantly enhance working relationships within an organization.

When asked to resolve or improve a conflict situation within an organization, PHASE IV Partners looks at the underlying assumptions of behavior as they relate to dealing with whatever the situation is – and in the mediation process, offers insights and strategies that break the destructive cycle generated by conflict-avoidance and mismanagement.
